Uploading Your own Address Mailing List

If you are uploading your own address file or would like to export your addresses from a contact management program, please read our address file specifications below.

NOTE: If you do not yet have your mailing list, you can wait to order your materials until you receive your list and upload it at the same time with your order or you can email us your list later when it is ready at: Store0711@DenverBusinessCenter.com

Important: If you are going to email your list to us later, you must reference your project address and your phone number in the email.  Otherwise, we will not be able to match your list with your order.

File Types:

If your file ends in any of the following, we can mail from your file:

We cannot mail in formats that are in a "label" format or PDF.

Required Address Fields

The only required fields for your address file are street address, city, state and zip code.
City, state and zip code need to be in separate fields.

Optional "Generic" Addressee

If you would like to add a generic addressee such as "or Current Resident" to each postcard do the following:
Add a "generic" (for example: "or Current Resident", etc.) addressee field to your address list. If you choose to add a generic addressee to your address list, it cannot be in the same field as the name or company fields.

Reasons to add a Generic Addressee

If you would like your postcard to be delivered regardless of the current resident of the address, you must add a generic addressee. Also, less of your postcards will come back undeliverable.
Example: A postcard notifying each household that a new listing or service is in their neighborhood.

Reasons not to add a Generic Addressee

If you would like a particular person/family to receive your postcard, you should not add a generic addressee. For first class mail, if the recipient no longer lives at that address it will be forwarded to their new address based on the National Change of Address (NCOA) information that we receive.
Example: A postcard inviting your customers to an exclusive event.

CASS Certification

When Denver Business Centers receives your address list, we run it through a program called CASS™ Certification which compares your address list to a constantly updated USPS database of addresses. It will not identify whether the intended recipient actually resides at that address, only that it is a valid street address. Denver Business Centers only mails to addresses that are deemed complete and valid by CASS™ Certification.
CASS Certification checks for:

If you would like to check your addresses (one at a time) for validity, you can do so at http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

Ordering Extra Postcards

When ordering your postcards you can choose to have one postcard mailed to yourself by adding your address to your uploaded mailing list.
If you would like to have more than one postcard shipped to you, add another item to your order for "Print-Only" postcards (with the postcards coming directly to you). Since this item is a separate shipment, this item will need to meet the $36 minimum. If you do not want your postcards to have addresses on them, choose this option.
